RE: REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE: FOOD FOR LIFE SOUTH AFRICA
LTM Holdings, a proudly South African organization, is invested in uplifting South Africa.
Our beliefs are:
- No act of kindness is too small
- If we all contribute in some small way, we could play a role in uplifting our nation as a whole
In response to growing concerns over food insecurity, hunger and other socio-economic challenges, LTM has partnered with the Food for Life Program to address the dire needs of our people. We hereby wish to introduce key stakeholders, like yourself, to this great cause in the hopes that it can assist with much needed financial support to handle the day-to-day expenses of the organization.
What is Food for Life?
Each day, millions of people go to bed hungry. The majority of these people comprises children. Food for Life Global is a food relief organization which was established in 1974. It has developed into a phenomenal global vegetarian feeding scheme. Currently, there are 211 projects in 60 countries serving up to 2 million meals daily. To date, this global organization has served over 6.4 billion meals, many whom rely on the program as a primary food source. This number is constantly increasing and can be viewed on www.ffl.org. Many high-profile individuals, including Nelson Mandela and Apple’s co-founder Steve Jobs, have praised this organization for their dedication towards feeding those in need.

Funds will be allocated evenly amongst the 30 branches, as listed above, to enable them in their daily distribution. Refer to brochure annexed hereto.

Since the organization is funded largely by public donations, we would appreciate it if you would consider our application hereto. This would enable the organization, along with its branch members and volunteers, the opportunity to reach out to communities that are in dire need of sustenance, not only during this global pandemic but for the future as well.
