üThe monitoring eSUMS platform

The water and energy devices are installed on-site at the homeowner’s property. The meters connect via the countrywide network, providing network connectivity from the meter to the eSUMS platform. The eSUMS platform will connect to the meters on a regular basis, polling it for usage information. This information is represented in graphical format via the eSUMS platform. Each user (homeowner) will have their own login to the platform, from where they are able to view usage data, trends and alerts at regular Intervals.

The water device is installed in series with the municipal water supply. The electricity device is installed on the main board in the dwelling.
