Experienced Property Valuer since 1987 who has been fortunate to have been exposed to numerous types of property / property use, for developments in South Africa, on a national basis while with one of the big 4 Banks, to determine the value of work completed and to manage adequate funds to complete the development. Was previously appointed to manage all projects that were showing signs of being in financial distress, while at Risk Mitigation. Completed and managed Retail Centre Valuations, including retail centres in peri urban and rural communities, throughout South Africa, from R50 to R3bn. Extensive experience with the valuations and due diligence of student accommodation, existing, redeveloped, greenfield and brownfield developments. Act as Mentor to all Candidate Valuers that have been employed by the various companies I have managed, since 2005. Experienced in the management of all listed fund portfolio reports, ensuring completion in the allocated time frames, JSE compliance, JSE reporting and engaging with Funds Audit Teams. Project manage all tenders awarded by SOC’s to ensure compliance and completion within time frames of the appointments. Spend several years in Thailand, some 4 months of the year since 2012, involved in personal construction and “pro bona” advice to locals and expats.
